The Committee to Commemorate Babe Ruth, The Committee to Commemorate Old Yankee Stadium & HistoryOfTheYankees.com are very pleased to announce that YankeeRollCall.com has just posted a TREMENDOUS show promoting our joint proposal to the City of New York for public commemoration of the great Babe Ruth. To the shock and amazement of all, there is absolutely NO public tribute in New York City to its greatest sports hero and icon - a terrible oversight and injustice we have been working on extensively to remedy.

This historic show, hosted by leading Yankee advocates and broadcasters Joe Castello & Paul Bauer, features absolutely 'Ruthian' interviews with Babe's granddaughter, Linda Ruth Tosetti, "the Babe Ruth of Babe Ruth Historians", Bill Jenkinson, and Palmer Murphy(http://www.palmermurphy.com/about.htm), whose majestic sculptures grace the Baseball Hall of Fame, among many other places. Representatives of our groups also speak to discuss the need, mission and plan of action for making this landmark public commemoration reality.

You can help GREATLY by writing to Mayor Bloomberg, citing this show and effort, asking him to personally make sure that The Babe is properly honored - with the baseball field named after him at the new park site ("Old Yankee Stadium Park") that has replaced The House that Ruth Built, and with a statue worthy of his unparalleled achievements and supreme historical significance in New York City - at Old Yankee Stadium Park, Central Park, or a site of equal prominence and suitability.
